Donor Relations and Stewardship Coordinator

The Donor Relations and Stewardship Coordinator provides administrative and program operational support to the Donor Relations and Stewardship team in the Development and Alumni Relations division. This position is responsible for preparing documents and bulk mailings, managing data entry, supporting annual endowment reporting, and assisting with donor follow-up. In addition, the incumbent compiles weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports regarding donor relations and stewardship metrics. The Donor Relations and Stewardship Coordinator will work closely with teams across the Development and Alumni Relations division, as well as with campus partners, to achieve the goals of the Donor Relations and Stewardship program.

Constituent Relations Officer

The Constituent Relations Officer is a member of the Donor Relations and Stewardship team in the Development and Alumni Relations Division that recognizes and stewards donors for their generosity and philanthropy to Rice University. The Constituent Relations Officer implements thoughtful strategies for stewarding gifts to the university, with special emphasis on major gift donors, and is able to collaborate with key stakeholders to accomplish this goal. The Constituent Relations Officer coordinates stewardship experiences for donors and strategic prospects, including but not limited to, creating impact reports for capital, endowment, and restricted current‐use gifts; coordinating donor engagement meetings or events; and/or designing strategic giving society experiences. The Constituent Relations Officer also works in the campus-wide advancement database system, documenting and managing stewardship data and plans in the system.

Associate Director, Alumni Programs (Alumni Career Engagement)

Rice University is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and creative individual to join the Alumni Relations team in the Development and Alumni Relations division as Associate Director, Alumni Programs (Alumni Career Engagement). This role is essential in designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive career and professional development program that supports alumni at every stage of their career journey. The Associate Director, Alumni Programs (Alumni Career Engagement) will lead efforts to build lifelong connections between alumni, students, and the university through professional resources, mentorship initiatives, career workshops, and networking opportunities. This position reports to the Senior Director, Alumni Programs.

Director of Development - Natural Sciences

Reporting to the Executive Director of Development (Schools), with dotted-line reporting to the Dean of the Wiess School of Natural Sciences, the Director of Development – Natural Sciences will co-create, manage, and execute fundraising strategy to increase philanthropic investment at the Wiess School of Natural Sciences and will help manage the advisory board, consisting of many of the school’s top prospects and donors. This role will actively engage all school constituents—including faculty, students, alumni, and parents—and requires an understanding of the school’s mission, priorities, traditions, and programs, as well as its history and future. The Director of Development – Natural Sciences will work closely with Development and Alumni Relations in aligning school-based priorities with those of institutional leadership and will interact with staff and faculty in the school, as well as with other colleagues throughout Rice University. This position will work dually within the Wiess School of Natural Sciences and Development and Alumni Relations to maximize the School’s development potential and engagement of the school’s prospect pipeline, with a specific focus on gifts at the $100K to $4.9M level. As the chief development officer for the school, the Director of Development – Natural Sciences will manage a portfolio of 80-100 prospects with a capacity of $100,000+ to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors to the school and will focus on fundraising priorities set by the Dean.
